Legionella Risk Assessments PWS Ltd provide risk assessments on domestic and commercial water systems. The Assessment provides practical guidance with respect to the requirements of:

“Health and Safety at Work Act 1974”
“Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1988” as regards risk from Legionellosis.
Health & Safety Commission guidelines HSG 274 part 2
Legionnaires Disease - The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems
A competent and trained risk assessor will be available to review and identify any risks within the water system of commercial or domestic buildings. Having surveyed the premises and reviewed the systems and associated services, the assessor will compile a report identifying the risks throughout the system, with photographs included for a better understanding.
We carry out the risk assessment based on training and approved methods
While on site, we follow pre-written and approved schedules to ensure we cover all possibilites
This ensures the final document is as accurate as possible in pointing out any issues found and ways to remedy them.
On completion of the survey, we submit an uncomplicated and easy to understand document that will contain all the required information such as any defects and where they are located, the risk level they impose and recommendations on how to reduce the risk. The document will also include an easy to read and understandable schematic of the water system.
Other systems that can produce a risk will also be considered in the final report (if any are found during the site visit).
