Sterilisation and Cleaning PWS Ltd are able to offer an annual programme of storage tank cleaning and sterilisations.

During its use, a cold water storage tank will begin to accumulate sediment on the bottom and sides. This naturally occurs from mains water systems and is almost impossible to avoid. However, with a clean and sterilisation, the increased accumulation of sediment within the tank can be controlled.

By draining the tank and vacuuming the sediment from the tank, the nutrients which can encourage bacterial growth are removed. By sterilising the tank and pulling through the system, any bacterial growth within the pipelines is also reduced.
Should the need arise, stronger sterilants can be used on systems which have been tested positive for Legionella.

The programmes are carried out in accordance with supplied generic or site specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments. All employees are CSCS Approved, Confines Spaces trained and Health and Safety aware.
